ABSTRACT
The Testament was probably composed in 1461-62. The base manuscript used by the editors is Bibliotheque nationale, fonds fran~ais 20041, the dating of which is uncertain. The editors comment that there are three different hands in the manuscript and that the scribe of our section was rather careless, making slips for example, in copying nand u, and probably not very well educated; in short, 'un professionnel, sans doute, qui copiait pour copier' (Rychner and Henry 1974: 17).
