ABSTRACT
Up to this point, this book has been dealing with an era in the history of human genetics in Britain that appeared to wind down with the weakening of the peculiar problematic that had held it together. It analyses the eugenics movement in terms of a single unifying theme: the focus of the movement upon the concept of a hereditary pauper class.
