ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we continue with the theme of class bias affecting Indian agricultural policy, and discuss two recent instances of inter-crop discrimination in pricing decisions. On the surface, it is the aspect of interregional discrimination which commands attention in the following narration. That, it will be maintained, is only a veil, and conceals the specificity of class alignments in the realm of polity.
