ABSTRACT
The first two technical questions will be tackled chapter by chapter through this text. The last question understandably dominates in the mind of the energy consumer and always becomes the final question for practical installations. It is of the greatest importance to realize that harnessing renewable energy is only likely to be 'economic' if two conditions have been met:
(1) The distinctive scientific principles of renewable energy have been understood and applied (we outline these in Section 1.3).
