ABSTRACT
Harlem born and San Francisco based, Marga Gomez has earned a living in theater and comedy venues since 1980. Her standup has been featured on public television, A & E, VH-1, Comedy Central and HBO’s Comic Relief V1, as well as “The Best of Comic Relief.” Her stage background includes performances with the Tony Award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe, Lilith Feminist Theatre and the ground-breaking Latino Ensemble Culture Clash. Her theatrical monologue Memory Tricks has been optioned by American Playhouse, as a feature film, and she is currently writing the screenplay.
