The better class does not think of visiting an amusement park, unless for a binge. There is too much noise and filth and touting. This I want to remedy. A switchback appeals to all classes with its sensation of speed. In replanning the Pleasure Beach, we have tried to intersperse the big attractions with the small stalls, such as darts, where they can win prizes.
