ABSTRACT
You will need a story from another county in translation, and if possible the text in the original language (see Resources section). It is preferable that this lesson is part of a series of lessons familiarising children with the chosen country. Use an OHT or have an enlarged photocopy of a page of original text with some easily identifiable words. You may like to ‘get in the mood’ by handing round a small snack peculiar to the country in question, e.g. tortillas.
