ABSTRACT
Previous chapters have shown how psychologists have attempted to explain who we are as individuals through descriptions of our personality. Some theorists believe our behaviours are largely genetically inherited (e.g. Eysenck) while others emphasise the effect society has on our behaviour (e.g. Bandura). An alternative to this perspective is to consider behaviour in terms of gender.
