ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the economic geography of talent, focusing in particular on the factors that attract human capital or talent. As we shall see, this economic geography is associated with diversity or opennesswhat I refer to as low barriers to entry for human capital. I also explore the effect of the economic geography of talent on high-technology industry and regional incomes.
