ABSTRACT
As a leading illustration application, Adobe Illustrator provides you with all the tools and features to help you to visualize your artwork ideas. Artwork in Illustrator can be created as 2D flat illustrations or in 3D with perspective depth. While drawing on paper, you can give your artwork “fake” depth using shades and perspective tricks. While this does not mean you turned your artwork 3D, it helps to give a 3D look and feel to your artwork. Adobe Illustrator can do the same. You can create your artwork using the 2D tools while applying some perspective using complex mathematical transformations and shade tricks, similar to what you do while you are drawing in the traditional way. This is one of the ways you can create a 3D look in Illustrator.
