The concept of multicam is simple yet powerful. Till now we’ve talked about editing with media
from different sources, typically one video track or “camera” with various additional flavors of
cutaways and composites. With Vegas Pro 9 and Multicam, you now have the ability to switch
multiple camera angles in real time, with the added bonus that, because this is nondestructive,
nonlinear editing, you have the opportunity to go back and make changes and adjustments to
your “shooting script” in a matter of seconds, without any loss of quality.
