ABSTRACT

The camera is an important part of any three-dimensional (3D) scene, even if animators do not assign a camera to view the 3D model or 3D scene. The 3D Camera Rotate tool rotates the camera around the object in any of the three dimensions; the rotation of the camera can be changed by dragging over the object or through the Orientation values in the Properties toolbar. In animation storyboarding, animators might need to walk through a 3D scene or object with the camera to give the viewer the impression that he or she is moving inside the 3D scene. The Perspective camera view simulates real perspective of the 3D objects view, as 3D content that is far from the camera is smaller than the 3D content that is near the camera. The 3D camera is one of the most important resources in the 3D scene, as it not only provides views for the object, but also helps in 3D animation.
