Room acoustics measures provide information about how sound behaves inside

a room; how the sound is distributed and the influence of size, shape, surface

materials, etc. Many of the measures are related to the way we perceive and

assess the sound as listeners, as performers in the room, or as recording or

SR engineers. In this chapter some basic room acoustics parameters and the

related measures are briefly described.
