The second parameter is made of a list of three comma-separated values, which express latitude, longitude, and radius (the dimension of the circled area of which the center is the point defined by latitude and longitude). The third is the string that we want to search on Twitter. For example, if we want to search who is tweeting about “lunch” in the area of New York (1 mile around Times Square) we can use the following URL: https://search. twitter.com/search.atom?geocode=40.736072,-73.992062, 1mi&q=lunch.
