ABSTRACT

Converting an object to a button in InDesign magically imbues it with superpowers. All of a sudden, it is transformed from a static graphic object that sits passively on a page, to an object with the ability to initiate and respond to a host of interactions. InDesign buttons can be made to display various appearances; navigate from one page of a document to another; play and stop sounds, video, animations; and more. Converting an object to a button also enables it to be directed by commands from other buttons, dramatically expanding your creative possibilities.
