ABSTRACT
While the import process is pretty routine, the export process presents its own set of considerations. Although supported for import, MOV, AVI, and MPEG media files will play only when exported to interactive PDF, and not if exported to SWF or FLA. For video and audio that will play in all three, stick with Flash Video (either FLV or F4V) or H.264 encoded files such as MP4. For audio, use MP3. These formats will play universally in Acrobat 9, Adobe Reader 9, and Flash Player 10 and later.
