ABSTRACT

Human beings are very graceful creatures at times. The complexity and elegance of their movements are often a joy to behold. Generally speaking, the readers can break human movement into easily definable stopping points and direction changes, which would imply that motion-based key framing is the way to go. No one key framing technique can apply to every shot featuring human movement. It is surprising to note that the grander, over-the-top movements of a human focus object can be easier to isolate. The motions are defined by their large movements and direction changes, which, on the surface, create an ideal situation in some cases for motion-based key framing. For subtle human movement over a long range of frames, before the readers jump in and try to define a usable key framing pattern, they might consider using tracking to minimize the workload.
