ABSTRACT
One of my favorite things about writing this book was having an excuse to pick up the phone and talk to other photographers whose work I deeply admire. My hope is that it will provide you, the reader, with the kind of exposure to their art and insight that will lead to a broadening of your world, just as it has for me. After querying many of these artists about their work, processes, and insights into photographing childhood, I’ve pared those conversations into bite-sized morsels that I hope you will find delicious and manageable.
