ABSTRACT
The Media Manager is a powerful search and retrieval tool for organizing and finding media quickly. The Options dialog box is accessed by the icon on the far right of the toolbar called the Media Library Actions button. Selecting this toolbar button will give a number of choices. The Add tags and custom properties from files option will import any tags that were saved with the files and will save hours of tagging the media manually. The Thumbnail view is great for video files and images because it allows to see the contents of media easily. The real power of the Media Manager is in its search capabilities. The quick text search, or as it’s sometimes called, the keyword search, will search all the fields in a library. The Media Manager can be a real timesaver when searching for a particular piece of media.
