Who’s Using the Internet? According to the Pew Internet Project’s research in 2010, 79% of U.S. adults use the Internet, up slightly from 75% in 2007. Among the millennium generation, Internet use is at 95%, up from 93% in 2008 and from 92% in 2007. In 2011, Pew reported that two-thirds of U.S. adults had high-speed access at home, up from 47% in 2006. Point-topic.com puts U.S. broadband penetration at 77.5% of households in 2011.
