Assembling the Reel

When drawing, you spend most of your time getting proportion and perspective drawn correctly before you worry about shading. An artist doesn’t start drawing at the top left corner and render the image perfectly as he works across the page. He takes the time to block out the overall image then continues to refi ne it until the fi nal detail is placed. A similar approach should be done with a demo reel and animation portfolio. Consider your demo reel and animation portfolio an ongoing project. One that truly is never complete. Think of yourself and your work as a river: always changing, never stagnant.
