ABSTRACT

Intercultural relations, according to content and, in so far as they correspond to conscious motivations, may take various forms. As a new aspect, intercultural problems are also increasingly dealt with by communication science. In the study of intercultural relations, the cognitive process will have to be based largely on dialectics and hermeneutics. The concept of culture was assigned a modest place in the study of international relations. Intercultural relations, according to content and, in so far as they correspond to conscious motivations, according to their aim, may take various forms. Intercultural relations are promoted through art exhibitions, concert tours, student exchanges, scientific congresses and distribution of teaching materials. In the study of intercultural relations, the cognitive process will have to be based largely on dialectics and hermeneutics. Dialectics is concerned in so far as the relationship between a subject is of primary importance.
