ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book analyzes practices, strategic planning, and methodologies related to transmedia dynamics in education. It considers any means of communication, digital or analog, that allows individual or collective expression of ideas, social interaction, and cultural exchange as a media environment. The book analyzes practices, strategic planning, and methodologies related to transmedia dynamics in education. Transmedia dynamics particularizes the communication process in each empirical context, although it refers to the generic characteristics of transmedia logic. Therefore, understanding, describing, and analyzing the communication form of transmedia dynamics are necessary, based on theoretical and methodological perspectives that can support transmedia strategic planning proposals compatible with the various collective tactics of transmedia creative expansion. The trajectory of transmedia dynamics is strategic and tactical.
