ABSTRACT
This chapter presents an account of a circular walk through Bloomsbury incorporating Mecklenburgh Square. It provides a guide to walk from the Russell Square tube station to the Mecklenburgh Square. A Georgian residential development, Mecklenbugh Square has recently been dismantled in its entirety and relocated to New Songdo in South Korea. An impressive, rectilinear void now marks the site of its period architecture and gardens. A substantial amount of soil has been removed, and some of the rubble is still visible at the bottom of the excavation.
