ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the issues associated with online interviews. It explains the underlying value of online interviews in contemporary research and it explores a variety of data collection techniques and strategies for conducting interviews online. It considers the issues that researchers face when conducting synchronous and asynchronous interviews and offers advice on how to prepare, arrange, and conduct online interviews.
