ABSTRACT
It might be best to start with the substance of humanity-craft, by exploring a sample of tentative principles. Then an appropriate philosophy of action is considered, followed by exploration of the needed new humanity-craft discipline as a domain of study, composing and professionalization. To start with the main normative basis of humanity-craft, it is species and civilization survival, with civilization including pluralistic thriving as desired by successive generations. The famous jurist Hans Kelsen put forth the theory that every legal system is based on a basic norm. The concept is used somewhat differently to refer to the basic norm which should be served by humanity-craft and the evolution steering system as a whole, namely long-term survival. One advantage of the Nuremberg trials, which disappeared in modern trials of crimes against humanity in various international and national courts, was the speed of trials while preserving the rights of the defendants.
