The Chapter will include: meaning of fieldwork recording and documentation, purpose of fieldwork recording, different kinds of documentation, guidelines for developing skills for effective recording, utilising recording as a tool for self-directed learning and growth, integrating concepts while recording (critical thinking, process, reflection, analysis, and goal setting), role of the supervisor/field instructor in motivating students towards effective recording, utilising recording for the purpose of assessment and evaluation of fieldwork.
