ABSTRACT

On March 7th and 8th, 1996, the University of Oklahoma Libraries and the University of Oklahoma Foundation sponsored “Emerging Patterns of Collection Development in Expanding Resource Sharing, Electronic Information and Network Environment.” This conference was a continuation of previous conference presentations and discussions on important collection development and networking issues facing the library communities. This volume presents the papers delivered at the conference in the hope that librarians, students and other interested people will continue the investigations and discussions of these critical issues.
