ABSTRACT
The aim of disposition studies in animals is to establish the pattern and time course for the absorption and excretion of a compound and/or its metabolites. Kinetic studies help in more detailed and precise quantification of the rates of absorption and excretion, but basic information can often be obtained during disposition experiments.
