ABSTRACT

To encourage broad-feature use of a collaboration technology at work, the drivers of employee adoption behavior once the system is successfully implemented needs to be investigated. We integrate the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) with job crafting theory and examine the role of job crafting behavior moderating employees’ acceptance. The model tested using PLS on survey data collected from 115 employees working in an Indonesian airline company. The analysis confirmed positive influence of performance expectancy on intention; and intention alongside facilitating conditions toward use behavior. Having significance but negative influence, our finding did not confirm proposed moderation effect of job crafting on social influence as the predictor of employee intention.
