ABSTRACT

On-demand music streaming is gaining popularity among users worldwide and this is mainly caused by a shift in the music-consumption landscape. The number of users continues to increase yearly and Malaysia is no exception to the trend. This study aims to investigate the role of information quality, system quality, service quality and trustability on user satisfaction among Malaysian music streamers. Trustability was added to the existing information systems success model in order to enhance research findings. A non-probability sampling method was applied and data was collected from 250 respondents via questionnaire. Respondents for this research are Malaysians who stream music on platforms such as Apple Music, Joox and Spotify. The relationships in the research model were then examined and analysed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. Results revealed that all four variables have a significant positive effect on user satisfaction.
