ABSTRACT

Like most Science Librarians serving in a Main Library setting, I wear several hats. About half my time is spent on science concerns. As the Science Librarian I teach classes in course-related bibliographic instruction, do science research consultations by appointment, help science students and faculty with any science-related questions, do science database searching, help many students with PsycLit and Biosis CD-ROM searching, do science reference book selection, go to workshops and training sessions about the science tools, and go to an occasional science department meeting.
