ABSTRACT
On Monday, Tom arrived at Tires for All very early, anxious to discuss his new role with Mark, who would fill his position as Director of Finance, and what he’d like to do to prepare himself for this new role. He called Mark and asked him, “Mark, do you have some time today that we could sit and talk about several things?” Mark replied, “Why yes, of course Tom. What is it that you want to talk about?” he asked. “I want to talk about my last month at Tires for All and my replacement,” Tom replied. “And by the way, when will Bob Nelson be back on site?” Mark replied, “He should be back here tomorrow, why do you ask?” “I want to talk to him about how I can get training to become a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Theory of Constraints Jonah,” Tom replied. “Okay, well we can talk now if you like?” Mark said and with that they hung up.
