ABSTRACT
Now that all of the training was completed for the CEOs and General Managers of the Board’s portfolio of companies, it was time for Tom to begin his new role as the person responsible for driving profitability much higher. Tom was excited to begin his new role, but also concerned as to whether or not he would be successful. “The Ultimate Improvement Cycle (UIC) worked very well at Tires for All, but will it work equally well within the portfolio companies?” he thought.
