Document Delivery in the Electronic Age: Collecting and Service Implications

Are we at a revolutionary juncture in how we bring patrons and journal information together? Is contemporary commercial document delivery, which combines access to electronic indexing and abstracting services with the ability to order articles with a few key strokes, going to replace both ownership and interlibrary loan? These questions, about the role of commercial document delivery, will be the focus of this presentation.
