A circular building, minimal state funding, and a multi-institution consortium are some of the features of the periodicals operation at Worcester State College, Worcester, Massachusetts. The following description of the periodicals collection in the Learning Resources Center covers location, organization, size, staffing, acquisitions, maintenance, holdings information and indexes, circulation, cooperative efforts, a users’ perspective, and a wish list.
