ABSTRACT

The aim of this concluding chapter is to discuss the findings of the book across its various chapters and offer a synthesis of the various studies; to emphasize both the pertinence of examining non-traditional managers (NTMs) for public value theory (PVT), as well as the contribution of PVT to understanding these forms of public managers. It also opens some new areas of inquiry and points of limitations of the work, and suggests future areas of research with certain perspectives on the direction of PVT going forward.
