ABSTRACT
Continually growing collections have mandated the use of storage arrangements in most libraries. Compact storage, storage buildings, weeding and conversion to microformat are all discussed. Reference is made to related topics in the recent literature. It is shown how application of various cost analyses and economic theory methods make available more meaningful and rational decision-making data.
