ABSTRACT

The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the growing global network of connected sensors, objects, and devices to computer networks. Active and passive chipsets are being embedded across a range of devices and applied across every sector of public life. The most notable devices are probably the home assistant (Echo, HomePod, and others), Ring doorbell, and Nest thermostat. Other applications include utilities management, inventory management, surveillance, and security. Global migration to 5G and narrow-band IoT are ushering in the next generation of smart systems. Many cities are testing largescale IoT applications such as water metering, waste disposal, and traffic and parking management.
