ABSTRACT
The examination of using artificial intelligence (AI) within the field of healthcare requires using three specific pillars to attain a greater perspective: policies and security, patient care, and AI’s overall longevity in this challenging domain. Within each of these sections, further information will be provided to clarify aspects that must be considered as a “priority” regarding changes or additions in processes or interactions inside the healthcare system. Certain areas must be focused on to protect patients, for example, information is a vital portion of healthcare, and it is equally important that ample security is supplied to protect sensitive information that is hosted in the form of medical records, corresponding files, and forms pertaining to medical care.
