ABSTRACT
One field that has a growing interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the medical industry. Medical professionals are using AI and machine learning (ML) for everything from medical records to minimally invasive surgeries. The use of new technology in industry is leading the medical field into a whole new era of patient-driven care and accessibility to life-saving devices. This chapter explores medical devices from the past, present, and future that are utilizing AI and ML to provide the best medical care as possible for patients.
