ABSTRACT
A lot of day to day reporting on local radio and TV deals with holidays and seasonal changes. This chapter serves as a planning aid for seasonal coverage – providing not only calendar federal holidays, but the holidays of the world’s major religions – including Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim holidays. The chapter also includes a listing of state holidays beyond the traditional federal ones.
