ABSTRACT
Sexual and physical victimization of males is vastly underreported, more so than female victimization. Male victims face unique issues that encompass socialization to masculinity, issues with arousal and penetration, shame, and limited access to services that confound their help-seeking behavior. This chapter briefly addresses some of the most salient unique issues male victims face for consideration.
