Sixth Circuit Library for the United States Courts

The organizational structure of the federal judicial library system is directly linked to the organizational structure of the judiciary itself. That is, apart from the U.S. Supreme Court, the general jurisdiction federal court system is composed exclusively of twelve separate circuit courts of appeals, each with jurisdiction over a geographically defined region of the country. Each of these circuit courts of appeals, in turn, has its own circuit court library system.
