ABSTRACT
Summary. Effective channels of communication must be established and maintained during the process of reorganizing in technical services. Several librarians describe the impetus for reorganization in their libraries, and how the decisions for change were made and implemented. The importance of maintaining different levels of communication, and involving a wide spectrum of individuals from inside and outside technical services are discussed.
