ABSTRACT
The problem we are to solve in the present chapter is this: what syllogistic moods are such that their translations into LPC1 formulae by Interpretation 1 are valid under the hypothesis ‘∃S . ∃P . ∃P . ∃M’? We shall prove that the answer is: the 24 traditionally valid moods, and no others.
