ABSTRACT
Compensation grouting belongs to the group of the socalled crack or fracture injection techniques. Contrary to fill injections where the voids of the subsoil are filled, during fracture injection artificially created joints are filled with a hardening cement based suspension. Fracture injection leads to a volume increase in the subsoil and causes a lifting of the ground surface.
