ABSTRACT
A companion paper Requirements for the design of the Bosphorus Tunnel addresses requirements particular to the Bosphorus that must be met during the design and construction of the immersed rail tunnel now under construction. This paper looks at the immersed tunnel and considers how it might be designed to meet these stringent requirements.
