ABSTRACT
Underground mining causes the formation of ground subsidence trough. Ground subsidence is acting a serious problem on the surface and surface structure, and is threatening the public safety in a residential area. Thus subsidence estimation is the important to avoid adverse impacts of subsidence, a reliable prediction is essential. The knowledge about the surface activity caused by mining and the prediction of subsidence enable efficient repairs of the mining damage, and has a positive impact on the economic results of mining. Thus understanding accurate subsidence mechanism is very important to predict the ground subsidence.
