ABSTRACT
Wind erosion is a serious environmental problem in arid and semi-arid regions of Iran and many other parts of the world. Strong wind erosion events, such as severe dust storms, may threaten human lives and cause substantial economic damage. The east and south east of Iran is affected these phenomenon. Dust storms in these places of Iran occur mainly in spring and summer and most frequently in July.
